As a charter operator, our flights are tailored to each booking rather than operating on a fixed schedule. Factors such as passenger numbers, baggage, freight, and aircraft weight and balance all influence how a flight is planned.
By speaking with our team directly, we can ensure we provide the safest, most efficient option and tailor the flight to suit your specific needs.

Each passenger may bring up to 25kg of luggage. Additional baggage may be carried subject to aircraft weight and balance limits. If space is not available, excess items will be transported on the next available flight.
Please note that extra charges may apply for baggage exceeding 25kg per person and for bulky items such as bikes, swag, golf clubs, etc. If you have additional luggage or any special requirements, we kindly ask that you contact our office in advance so we can make suitable arrangements.

Guests are asked to arrive no later than 30 minutes before their scheduled departure time. We aim to commence boarding at least 15 minutes prior to departure to ensure a timely take-off.
If you anticipate being delayed, please let our friendly office team know as soon as possible so we can assist where we can.

Cancellations or changes to bookings must be advised as early as possible.
Cancellations made more than 48 hours prior to departure will not incur a fee.
Cancellations within 48 hours of departure may incur a cancellation fee of up to 50% of the quoted fare.
Cancellations within 24 hours of departure, or failure to arrive for the flight, may result in the full fare being charged.
We understand that unforeseen circumstances can arise and will consider these on a case-by-case basis.

Full payment is required prior to departure. You can arrange this by contacting our office to pay by credit card over the phone or in person. Account holders may be invoiced according to their agreed terms.

Pets are welcome aboard our aircraft, whether travelling with a passenger or separately to their owners, provided they are suitably secured for the duration of the flight. Please advise us at the time of booking if you are travelling with a pet so we can make the appropriate arrangements.

We have partnered with Flinders Island Car Rentals, who provide vehicles at Bridport, Lady Barron, and Whitemark Airports. To discuss your needs or make a booking, please contact the team at Flinders Island Car Rentals directly.

Yes, complimentary car parking is available for customers travelling with Flinders Island Aviation at both our Bridport and Lady Barron airfields.
Please note that these parking areas are unattended and unsecured. While every care is taken, Flinders Island Aviation does not accept responsibility for any loss, theft, or damage to vehicles or their contents.

Unaccompanied minors between the ages of 5-12 are welcome to travel with us, subject to prior arrangement and approval. Our team will take every reasonable care to ensure their wellbeing; however, supervision is limited to normal operational handling. Please contact our office in advance to discuss arrangements and ensure all requirements are met before travel.

Infants (a child who has not yet turned 2 years of age) are welcome to travel with us and must be accompanied by a responsible adult. For safety and operational planning, please advise us at the time of booking if you will be travelling with an infant. Due to aircraft configuration and seat availability, infants will be required to travel on an adult’s lap and will be secured during flight using an approved infant seatbelt (supplementary loop belt). Our team will ensure appropriate arrangements are made to provide a safe and comfortable journey.
