Flinders Island Aviation Services employs a small group of dedicated personnel who strive to provide the best possible service to our customers.
Gordon Rorison is Managing Director of the company and is also the Chief Pilot. Gordon has been flying for almost 20 years. Prior to purchasing this operation Gordon was Manager at Gippsland Aeronautics the manufacturers of the GA8 Airvan. He shares his time between administering the business and flying duties.
Barbara Rorison is also a Director of the company and is responsible for the administrative side of the business. Barb is ably assisted in this task by Michelle Woolley.
Senior pilot is Frank Willebrand who has had immense experience in flying to all of the islands in the Furneaux group over many years. Frank has also flown float planes out of Strahan in western Tasmania and is a highly experienced skydiving pilot.
Les Kirk is our line pilot and the pilot mostly responsible for the safe and expedient delivery of mail, newspapers and freight from Bridport to Lady Barron on a daily basis.
