Charter Services:
In addition to our contractual arrangements with Australia Post and the Tasmanian daily newspapers we also perform a substantial amount of charter work around the Furneaux group, to Tasmania and Victoria. Our fleet of 2 GA8 Airvans and Cessna U206G are well equipped to provide a safe, efficient and reliable service to and from any airport in Australia.The Airvans are each capable of carrying 7 passengers in style and comfort and with their cargo pods are able to securely carry baggage remotely from the cabin area.The proven 206 has been the mainstay of the charter operator for many years and is capable of carrying 5 passengers in safety and comfort, ours is also equipped with a cargo pod. Weight considerations apply together with the distance to be flown, fuel requirements, weather, passenger weights and baggage will determine the maximum load that can be safely carried.
Freight Services:
Freight is carried on a daily basis predominately between Bridport and Lady Barron with frequent services to Victoria. In conjunction with Joe Lyons deliveries we are able to provide a next day delivery service between Launceston and Flinders Island. Because of the immense carrying capacity of the GA8 Airvan we are able to carry most things ranging from livestock to motorcycles to pushbikes, white goods and even a drive shaft and propellor from a fishing boat.
We are carriers for most of the major freight forwarding organisations including AAE, Road Runners, Toll Priority, Star Track Express, Tasmanian Freight Services and TNT Express.
